NHS worker takes on Ultra Trial Race for Hospice

Tomorrow Tod Davis, a Senior Exercise Physiologist at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, will take on the Snowdon 24 ultra trail race. The challenge? To complete as many ascents and descents of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) as possible within the 24hours!

Tod explains why he’s taking such an adventurous challenge on:

Whilst I’m a keen runner, I’ve never participated in a challenge like this before! I’m collecting sponsorship money for St Kentigern Hospice. Whilst the hospice does not charge anything for the fantastic care they give, it costs roughly £3.5m a year to run such a fantastic facility and over £2.5m of that comes from fundraising and donations. I would like to play just a small part in helping St Kentigern to continue to operate in our local area.

I would love for you to support me in the upcoming challenge by giving generously to this worthy cause. Your support really does mean a lot to me, any support you can give would be gratefully received.
