Kath Easton raises £5,140 for the Hospice

Huge thank you to Kath Easton from Tremeirchion who raised a fantastic £5,140.00 for the Hospice!

Kath suffers from arthritis and asthma so the 5 mile walk was a huge challenge for her, she has ongoing health issues, so over the last few months she was building up her stamina to complete the walk. Kath was encouraged by friends, family, neighbours, together with the local community who joined her on the walk on 25th March.

Kath said, “Those of you who know me will understand what a huge challenge this was for me. My health is deteriorating so this will be the last opportunity for me to complete an achievement of this magnitude! Thank you to everyone who supported me and to everyone who kindly donated to make this such a successful fundraiser”

Kath & Co started from the village of Tremeirchion and walked to The Waen and back. Here are a few photos of the fundraiser!

Thank you Kath for your amazing fundraising effort and thank you to the local community who supported your fundraising and who donated so generously.
