We’re so proud to announce we’ve surpassed the halfway mark with the kind and generous donations from our community for our new garden project! To date, you have helped raise over £17,000. This money has meant we can start making foundational changes to the new green area. We’ve had the drainage put in, and we soon plan to lay some of our accessible paving! Some of our wonderful volunteers have also been busy propagating plants, which are already attracting bees and butterflies on some of the warmer days! We’ve even had a kind donation of mature trees which have been planted to start our screening from the surrounding houses.
Whilst on the surface not much looks to have changed, this is all the base work we need to be able to create the beautiful and versatile garden our hospice needs! We couldn’t have gotten to this point without you and we won’t be able to get to the next point without some further support! We’re looking to raise a further £12,000 to help make our garden vision a reality.
