Only one week to go before the Big Give Christmas Challenge. We want to make a difference to patients and their families over the festive period to ensure they can have the best Christmas possible in the most difficult of circumstances. We want to ensure that Christmas is a time of comfort, celebration and lasting memories. We would love for our supporters to get involved and raise much needed awareness and donations.
Christmas is a time when families wish to be together. We wish to ensure that patients and their loved ones can replicate where possible how they would celebrate this time together if they were at home. We will decorate rooms and the ward areas with Christmas decorations and trees and provide a small gift for every patient. Meals will be provided to both patients and their loved ones. We will endeavour to meet any final wishes of the patient and the families to make the day as special as it possibly can be.
We have secured £4,500 in match funding which means that every donation we receive up to £4,500 between midday on 28th November and midday on 5th December will be doubled and count towards our Pay for Christmas Day campaign. Help us reach our target of £9,000!

We hope that our Pay for Christmas Day campaign will give patients and their families the best possible Christmas together and make them feel special and loved. Such special memories last forever and help support families during the process of grief through bereavement support.
The impact of such care is difficult to quantify. However patient and family feed-back measures the huge effect on compassionate innovations such as this. We have one chance to get things ‘right’ and as a Hospice our wish is to ensure this is achieved for our patients and their families/loved ones.
