Exciting things are happening here at St Kentigern Hospice and we are eager to share some important news with you. We are moving our distribution centre to larger premises in Rhyl in June.
We are thrilled to have been experiencing remarkable growth in our retail sector. St Kentigern understands and fully supports the increasing popularity of sustainable living campaigns encouraging us to ‘reduce, reuse, recycle’.
Thanks to your continuing generous donations of items for the St Kentigern Hospice shops, we have outgrown our current site in Bodelwyddan and will soon be launching our new Preloved Warehouse in the easy-to-access, former Aldi site, situated behind Animal Trust on Wellington Road, Rhyl.
We know how important it is for our valued customers to enjoy their shopping experience and with so much more space available at the new centre we can now open a large store on site where shoppers will be welcome to browse at their leisure before making a purchase. Pre-selected good quality furniture, electrical items, clothing, books, and home and garden ware will be available. A dedicated testing area will ensure that all electrical items are safe to take away and use at home.
The move also enables us to increase our efficiency. Collections and drop-off of sizeable items will be streamlined by easier access and ample parking. The Bodelwyddan centre has now closed to allow us to complete the final packing so we would ask you to hold on to your donations for the next couple of weeks. The move is an opportunity for us to thank the Bodelwyddan community and our landlord again for their loyalty during the past years. We invite you all to come to tour our new Preloved Warehouse as soon as you see our announcement on social media and here on the website when the open date has been finalised, we can’t wait to show you around!
