Light up a Life 2019
Nov 29, 2019 @ 8:00 am - Dec 11, 2019 @ 5:00 pm
Christmas Time is a time of celebration and sharing, but it can also be a difficult time of year when you are parted from your loved one. The Light up a Life Appeal gives people who have lost loved ones the opportunity to come together to remember them.
Last year the community kindly supported the appeal by remembering their loved ones. Thank you so very much for your donations which helped to raise over £8000, funding over 44 hours of hospice care for patients.
We invite you to honour the memory of a loved one, or celebrate someone special in your life who will be absent this Christmas season, by dedicating a light to them. The tree will be lit at each of our special services being held this December:
SERVICE DATES:
29 NOVEMBER 2019 | 6PM | ABERGELE TREE OF LIGHTS | ABERGELE TOWN HALL
5 DECEMBER 2019 | 6PM | ST DYFNOGS CHURCH, LLANRHAEADR
6 DECEMBER 2019 | 6PM | ST ASAPH CATHEDRAL
6 DECEMBER 2019 | 6PM | PRESTATYN PARISH CHURCH
8 DECEMBER 2019 | 6PM | ST PETERS CHURCH, RUTHIN
8 DECEMBER 2019 | 6PM | WAEN CHAPEL (WELSH LANGUAGE SERVICE)
11 DECEMBER 2019 | 4PM | BUTTERFLYS TEA ROOM, NORTH WALES GARDEN WORLD, KINMEL BAY.
For every name dedicated, we will send you a personalised card and each name will appear in the book of Christmas blessings which will remain in display in the Cathedral and in the hospice .
If you are not able to attend a service this year we have introduced a home pack which includes a candle, a prayer, a reading and pin badge so that you can participate in your own time.
We hope that you are able to support our Light up a Life appeal this year. Should you be interested, please contact the fundraising team today on 01745 775415 or mail@stskentigernhospice.org.uk or download a dedication form here
There is no minimum donation for each light, all we ask is that you are as generous as possible as every penny helps care for patients and their families.
