This year we are lucky to have Caryl Parry Jones as our speaker for the Ladies Lunch. Caryl Parry Jones is one of Wales’ foremost composers, entertainers and scriptwiters. Originally from Flintshire in North East Wales she was born to a musical family and grew up in a creative atmosphere which most certainly shaped her future as a multi-talented performer and writer. For the last three years she has co-presented the Radio Cymru Breakfast show with Dafydd Meredydd and appears regularly on Radio Wales. Scriptwriting is another string in her bow. The creation of her comedy characters which depict Welsh people form all walks of life and from different areas around Wales, coupled with her mastery of accents, is seen as one of her many triumphs and Caryl has created comedy characters for the numerous series to which she put her name. The second series of “Caryl” was broadcast in January 2014. We are delighted that Caryl has agreed to speak for us at this year’s event which is to be held on Wednesday 14^th May at the Oriel hotel, St Asaph.  To be sure of a place, contact the Fundraising Team on 01745 536022.
