Dying Matters Week | Graham Hartill – Lifelines
16/05/2018 @ 1:30 pm - 3:00 pmFree
Creative writing workshop for Day Therapy patients at St Kentigern Hospice and anybody else who is over the age of 50, has a life limiting condition and would like to try a new creative activity to improve their wellbeing.
“Celebrating our lives! An opportunity to write about an experience in our own lives that ‘stick out in our minds’ for their humour, pleasure or perhaps because of what they taught us in life. We will share some our memories and support one another to get some words down on paper if desired. The session will involve plenty of informal chatting and story-sharing and everyone is welcome to take part in whatever way they wish: writing, talking or just listening. No previous writing experience necessary.”
This will be an opportunity for both hospice day therapy patients to take part and those who have never visited the hospice, but would like to come over and take part in a creative experience to improve their wellbeing.
Places are limited, therefore please book in advance using the link below] or call Kath at the hospice: 01745 585221.
