Join St Kentigern Hospice on October 27th 2023, at Ruthin Rugby Club, Pavilion Cae Ddol, Ruthin LL15 2AA, to take on the challenge of walking across fire with Time 4 Change and Cliff Mann, the most experienced firewalking instructor in Europe.

This challenge is exactly as the name suggests: a barefoot walk over red-hot embers measuring around 800 degrees. No tricks, no special effects. Just you and the fire.

What to expect

The evening will begin with motivational training by facilitator Cliff to prep you for the fire walk. There will be food and refreshments available to purchase on the day.

Is there an age limit?

The minimum age is 16 years of age (aged 16-18 require parental/guardian permission). There is no upper age limit.

Timings for the evening:

• 18.00 Registration
• 18.30 Training begins – Please note: It is mandatory that all walkers attend the training before the fire walk
• 19.30 The fire is lit
• 20.00 Fire Walk
• 20.30 Debrief and certificates

We have two options available for taking part in the Fire Walk

• Option 1 – £20.00 – Registration Fee & £100 – Minimum Sponsorship Amount
• Option 2 – £100.00 – Self Fund (no minimum sponsorship amount)

This event is great as a team, so why not bring together your friends/ family/colleagues and face this challenge united! A fire walk teaches you how to conquer fears and helps you let go of whatever has held you back. After all, if you can walk on fire, just imagine what else you can do.

Feel free to bring along your friends and family to cheer you on. Refreshments will be available and on-site parking, although this is limited. Where possible, please travel in one car.
