Fundraising Groups
Fundraising Groups are groups of volunteers who work together in their free time to raise funds to help St Kentigern Hospice provide the care and support for our patients and their families.
About our Fundraising Groups
Fundraising Groups are groups of volunteers who work together in their free time to raise funds to help St Kentigern Hospice provide the care and support for our patients and their families. They also act as ambassadors for the Hospice in their local community. Each Support Group works separately but with the full support and back up of the Fundraising Team. Some do street collections or supermarket tables in their own towns. Others focus on coffee mornings, tables at the local fairs in the summer, others put on Auction of Promises events, Strawberry Teas, concerts etc.
All the events the Fundraising Support Groups arrange are put onto our Events Calendar at the Hospice and on this website.
We currently have Support groups in Abergele, Denbigh and Prestatyn. If you’d like to join or create one in your area with a group of like-minded friends and neighbours please do let us know.
Join a Fundraising Group
It is a great way of helping the Hospice raise much needed funds, and make new friends along the way. The Groups are very sociable and most meet regularly to plan and exchange ideas.
If you would like to join your local group then contact the Fundraising Office to find out who is the Secretary of your local group. If there is not a Support Group in your area, why not set one up?
Every one of our existing Fundraising Support Groups started with someone like you deciding to make it happen.
If you want to make it happen, then contact the Fundraising Office on 01745 536022 to talk it over.
