The Mayor of Abergele, Cllr Alan Hunter, will be swimming with sharks this month to raise money for St Kentigern Hospice! 🦈
The challenge will bring Cllr Hunter face to face with one of Europe’s largest collections of sharks!
Councillor Alan Hunter says “After a visit with my granddaughters to the Blue Planet Aquarium in Ellesmere Port, I thought a swim with the sharks would be different; certainly for the sharks!
My wife and I have never forgotten the kindness and care of the wonderful staff at St Kentigern where Cheryl’s father spent his final weeks.
So many charities have struggled through the pandemic with a loss of fundraising opportunities. I’m really pleased to be able to do something which I hope will raise as much as possible to support the work of our local hospice.”
