Federation of Small Businesses North Wales & Chester Branch support local hospice

MEMBERS of the Federation of Small Businesses have given more than £900 to a North Wales Hospice after raising money a recent golf event.
Participants at the golf day, organised by the FSB’s Chester and Wrexham Branch, gave a donation, together with a suggestion of a charity that should receive the funds.
The lucky charity, chosen at random, was St Kentigern Hospice in St Asaph, nominated by FSB members Susan and Paul Burnet of ‘And now to Bed’ in Prestatyn.
Mr and Mrs Burnet were joined by FSB Chester and Wrexham Branch Chair James Dick and branch members Shaun Roberts and Jennifer Langley to present the money to Jackie Jeffery, Fundraising Manager of St Kentigern Hospice.
Receiving the cheque she said: “We would like to thank the Federation of Small Businesses, North Wales and Chester Branch for choosing St Kentigern Hospice to be the recipient of the donations from their recent Golf Charity Day. We are indeed extremely grateful for all donations that we receive from our local community which in turn go towards the care and help we give to our patients and their families.”
