A Commitment to Support: Councillors Peter Scott and Martyn Hogg Visit St Kentigern Hospice

Councillors Visit to St Kentigern Hospice

This week, our Chair, Steve Thomas, and Chief Executive Officer, Jane McGrath, had the pleasure of welcoming Councillors Peter Scott and Martyn Hogg to St. Kentigern Hospice. Their visit marked the continuing strengthening of community partnerships, raising the awareness of our hospice services and the provision of specialist palliative and end of life care, as outlined in our five-year strategy 2023-2028.

Peter Scott and Martyn Hogg spent time with our Chair and Chief Executive Officer discussing the hospice’s mission, services, and the challenges we face as we continue to provide compassionate care to individuals and families living with life-limiting illnesses. The visit also provided an opportunity to share insights into the daily operations of the hospice, as well as the future projects we aim to undertake. Their genuine interest and commitment to exploring opportunities for supporting the hospice’s essential work in the year to come were deeply appreciated.

We are incredibly grateful for Councillors Peter Scott and Martyn Hogg’s time, enthusiasm, and willingness to support St Kentigern Hospice. Their support exemplifies the power of community leaders working together to make a meaningful impact.

As we look ahead to the year, we truly value this collaboration and remain grateful for the continued support from our local leaders and advocates.
