Hospice Champion, Cheryl Griffiths is fundraising for St Kentigern Hospice. Cheryl ran the Chester Half Marathon last Sunday, beating her PB and crossing the line in 1h 48m
“This year will mark 10 years since our family lost someone extremely special (Kev) to Leukaemia, a shock terminal diagnosis for someone who played a massive part in my life.
St Kentigern Hospice provided special end of life care for Kev, ensuring he was as comfortable as possible by managing pain and other distressing symptoms. Not only that, they provided emotional support to the family as we tried to process what was happening.”
