Light Up a Life 2026
Christmas can bring back some of our happiest memories. It can also be a time when we feel the absence of someone we love. Light Up a Life is a chance to pause, remember someone special and share those memories with others.
This December, you’re warmly invited to join us at St Kentigern Hospice or at our Denbigh Support Group’s community service. You can also dedicate a light from home and leave a personal message in memory of someone you miss.
Join a Light Up a Life Service
Light Up a Life at St Kentigern Hospice
Sunday 6 December 2026, 5pm to 7pm
St Kentigern Hospice, Upper Denbigh Road, St Asaph, LL17 0RS
Join us for our annual remembrance service at the hospice. Whether your loss is recent or you’ve been missing someone for many years, you’re welcome to spend the evening with us and take time to remember them.
Our Book of Remembrance will be open during the service. You’re welcome to write a loved one’s name, leave a personal message or share a memory you’d like to put into words.
Denbigh Support Group Community Service
Thursday 3 December 2026, 6pm to 8pm
St Dyfnog’s Church, Llanrhaeadr, LL16 4NN
Our Denbigh Support Group warmly invites you to a service of remembrance and reflection at St Dyfnog’s Church. Côr Undod will lead the carols, and refreshments will be served after the service.
Dedicate a light in memory of someone special
You can dedicate a light online or using a paper form. A dedication can be as simple as a name, a few words about the person you miss or a memory you’d like to share.

- Follow the prompts to add your loved one’s name and a personal message.
- Enter your donation and submit your dedication.

Download and print our dedication form, or use the slip in our winter mailing. Complete your dedication and return it, with any donation you wish to make, to the address below.

Light Up a Life Pin Badges
Our Light Up a Life pin badges are a small keepsake to wear in memory of someone special. You can buy one at the hospice or order online for delivery or collection from the hospice.
Business Lights Sponsorship
Local businesses can support Light Up a Life by sponsoring a Business Light. Your sponsorship helps St Kentigern Hospice provide free specialist palliative care for local people and support for their families.
How your donation helps
A donation in memory of someone you love helps us care for local people living with life-limiting illness and support the people close to them. Thank you for thinking of St Kentigern Hospice as you remember someone special this Christmas.
