Rhian Clarke lives in Abergele where she and her husband retired to twelve years ago.

Rhian is a fluent Welsh speaker and was brought up on the family farm in Mid Wales where was much involved in the cultural scene.

She was appointed as a Board Trustee in July 2023 and sits on the Audit and Governance committee.

Her career history encompasses many of the disciplines of the business scorecard namely retail, finance, risk, people management and customer experience. Rhian has also extensive experience in people management and latterly was a Regional Manager and Board member of a large financial organisation.

Supporting charities is close to Rhian’s heart. Whilst working in South Wales she became a Trustee of Ty Hafan. She is also an active member of the St Kentigern Abergele Support Group. In her spare time, Rhian enjoys, amongst other things, playing bridge, event planning, leading a healthy lifestyle, networking and making a difference.
