DESCRIPTION:The Pearl Ball is an evening of celebration and generosity\, held in support of St Kentigern Hospice. All funds raised throughout the night will go directly towards the vital care and services here at St Kentigern Hospice. \nThe event will take place by kind permission of the owners at Pentre Mawr Country House\, near Llandyrnog. Set in the foothills of the Clwydian Range\, the venue offers a picturesque and enchanting backdrop for a truly memorable evening. \nGuests are invited to arrive at 6:00 pm\, with carriages at midnight. Tickets are £85 per person or £800 for a table of ten if booked by 30 April 2026. \nThe evening will begin with a welcome drink and canapés\, followed by a sumptuous three-course meal and cheese and biscuits\, with tea and coffee to conclude. The meal will be served by the award-winning Peninsula Caterers\, ensuring a dining experience to remember. \nGuests will also be entertained by the exceptionally talented musician Ron Saunders and a bar and table wine will be available for pre-order or purchase on the night. This trek is perfect for those looking for a challenge with stunning scenery\, camaraderie\, and a sense of achievement. \nDates: 1–2 August \nDay 1 – Trekking Yr Wyddfa | Snowdon\nRoute: Llanberis Path (Tourist Path) \nDistance: Approx. 9.5 miles \nItinerary: \n\nStart: Depart from the start venue and head to the Llanberis Path.\nPenceunant Tea House: Our first stop at this charming 18th-century cottage along the road.\nHalfway House Café: We leave the road and follow the path alongside the railway line to the café.
